Bree's Painting

This is another old story, but a good one.

While Jason and I were both at work in Euless at church, Bree (about 20 months old) was able to roam from office to office. We eventually found that Bree was missing for a while (Jason and I both thought that she was in the other's office.) We ended up finding her in the restroom COVERED in this thick, sticky, clear, gooey cream. She was also wiping it on the sink, faucet, mirror... everywhere!

I asked, "BREE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

She replied, "Painting."

I responded, "What are you painting with?"

"My hand."

"And what else?" I continued.

After examining herself she responded, "And my other hand."

Funny and cute, that wasn't the answer I was looking for. It ended up being Vaseline. She had also painted the playhouse and LOTS of toys in the classroom. AUGHHH! It was a mess to clean up, but I laughed the whole time thinking of her 'innocent' response to my question.

Sorry, it has been a while...

Miss Bossy

The other night after bath time I was getting the girls dressed. During the process (of getting them dressed) Bree passed gas three times in a row. Immediately after each 'epidode' she said politely (but with a giggle), "Excuse me... excuse me... excuse me." Emie (miss bossy) replied after each 'episode' (pointing to Bree's bottom), "Bree, no poo poo on the carpet... Bree, no poo poo on the carpet... Bree, no poo poo on the carpet!"

Okay, I am back!

This is an old story. But a cute one.

Memory Verses

Jason and I taught Bible Hour/Children's Worship at our last church on Sunday nights. Jason would give out Lifesavers to the kids if they successfully said their memory verses. Bree was about 2 at the time. It was Monday morning and I noticed that Bree was in our room eating something. She had found Jason's stash of Lifesavers. When I asked her what she was doing her reply was: "I eatin my membry berses!"

Morning Breath

A few days ago Bree was very excited about how sweet my breath smell. I was chewing 'Bubble Gum' flavored chewing gum. She constantly was asking me to blow on her so she could smell it.

The next morning Bree climbed into bed with us after she woke up. I asked her if she wanted to smell my breath to see if it still smelled sweet. (Yes, I know this is gross...get over it...it was funny). Bree was very excited until I blew on her. Her response...

"Yuck!!! That smelled like Daddy."
